Egg Toastie

Egg toast and a side of sliced kiwi fruit
Ingredients:
  • 1 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
  • 2 slices of your favorite bread
  • Butter for spreading (optional)
  • 1-2 ripe kiwis, peeled and sliced
Cooking Instructions:
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter or olive oil.
  • Crack the eggs into the skillet, be carefull so the yolk doesn’t crack.
  • Season the egg with salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.
  • Continue cooking until the egg is set but still moist, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat.
  • Toast the slices of bread to your desired level of crispiness.
    Optionally, spread butter on the toast while it’s still warm.
  • Place the eggs on top of the toasted bread slices, dividing them evenly.
